Our first field trip for the year was to Old McDonald's Farm. The weather was perfect, the animals were wonderful to pet and feed. There is not a whole lot more fun for a small child than a huge pile of sand with shovels, buckets, and dump trucks. The kids rode horses and a train, and pizza was the feast for the day. It was a joyful day and extremely pleasant. Sometimes you just have to have fun !
